Factory Lane

Factory Lane is a dynamic, open-air space perfect for everything from social gatherings to corporate functions, pop-ups and community activations. 

Situated in the lively West Village precinct, Factory Lane blends the heritage industrial charm of the old Peters Ice Cream Factory with the lush greenery of its surrounds to create the perfect backdrop for an array of events. Factory Lane also includes our indoor air-conditioned foyer and, most importantly, the Metro Arts Bar.

Venue hire is available around our annual Artistic Program for both public and private events. For more intimate occasions, the laneway can be bollarded for privacy, and small to medium group reservations can be accommodated for those wanting to engage with Metro Arts’ activities.

Events that coincide with our exhibition program have the added perk of being able opt for a private exhibition tour with our Curator or CEO. Adding a personalised creative experience for you and your guests.
